We happily invite you to an expert meeting on 26 August at 6 p.m. on the situation of LGBTQI+ refugees in Poland, combined with the publication of a report by the Migration Consortium and Plan International Poland: Crossing Double Borders. LGBTQI+ displacement to Poland. The meeting will be held online and in English.
The following speakers will discuss the situation of LGBTQI+ refugees in Poland and the recommendations resulting from the analysis of over 40 interviews:
- Darin Loka, co-founder of the MOVA Association and Queer Without Borders
- Magdalena Dropek, Equal Treatment Department, The Chancellery of Prime Minister
- Sven Coppens, Plan International East and Central Europe
- Sarian Jarosz, author of the report (Migration Consortium)
The meeting will last 90 minutes and will include a short presentation of the report’s key findings and a panel discussion with questions. During the meeting, we will discuss humanitarian and legal barriers in Poland after 2022, as well as the role of translations and training for public administration.

Przez podwójną granicę. Przymusowa migracja osób LGBTQI+ do Polski. Spotkanie odbędzie się online i w języku angielskim. Nagranie ukaże się później w Akademii Migracyjnej.

Spotkanie potrwa 90 minut. Rozpoczniemy krótką prezentacją wyników raportu, następnie zapraszamy do udziału w panelu dyskusyjnym z pytaniami. Podczas spotkania poruszymy kwestię barier humanitarnych i prawnych w Polsce po 2022 roku, a także rolę tłumaczeń czy szkoleń dla administracji publicznej.
